Some areas of B.C. are expected to have normal Summer temperatures, while a cool Summer is forecasted for Inuvik, in the Northwest Territories, Shingle Point, Yukon and Whitehorse.
A few parts of the country are slated to get more precipitation than normal but they are largely in the far north and in less-densely populated areas.
The predictions of below normal, normal or above normal temperatures and precipitation are based on weather data from 1961 to 1990.
Environment Canada makes its seasonal forecasts three months in advance.
